University Spotlight - Stanford University

For our first University Spotlight we look at Stanford University from California and learn a bit more about them as a University and Soccer team!

Founded in 1973, Stanford University, members of the PAC 12 conference in NCAA D1, is our feature University this week. Not only a prestigious institute of learning, but one with a history of sporting excellence!

With historical success in both Men's and Women's Soccer, 6 time National Champions across both programs, Stanford University set the standard when it comes to College Soccer. It's Athletics teams compete in NCAA Division 1, with the Men's Soccer team having won back to back to BACK National Championships in 2015, 2016 & 2017!

Known as The Cardinal, the University boasts incredible sporting facilities and a fantastic campus, with world class laboratories and facilities for learning. Based in Stanford, California, the University is located just 30 minutes from San Francisco and San Jose.

Ranked amongst the top universities in the world, Stanford is a prestigious institution with a reputation for Academic & Athletic success.
