University Spotlight - Monroe College

This week we are taking a look at Monroe College for our spotlight series, the current Men's Soccer National Champions in NJCAA Division 1!

Based in the heart of New York City, this private College has campuses in the Bronx, New Rochelle, and Manhattan. In fact, the New Rochelle campus is located just a 30 minute train ride from Grand Central station in New York.

Known as the Mustangs, Athletics play a major part in the school's history as they compete across several sports competitively, with their most recent and noticeable success being the 2022 Men's Soccer NJCAA D1 National Championship victory.

The institution itself was founded in 1933, originally established as a Women's Business School by Mildred King. The college offers Associates degrees across the field of Business as well as Batchelor's degrees in Accounting and Business Management.
